In exceptional natural surroundings, the Dino-Zoo retraces the evolution of animals from the first life forms, 500 million years ago, up to our ancestors who lived in the region more than a thousand years ago.
A wooded 30-acre park where scenes of prehistoric life present reproductions of a hundred legendary animals and people looming up from the depths of time: stegosaurs, triceratops, tyrannosaurs and also, closer to us, the mammoth and prehistoric man…

The environment they lived in has been reproduced and the vegetation, insofar as possible, re-created. Great importance has been attached to the setting: clearings, undergrowth, stretches of water, rocks, prairies…

The Dino-Zoo is a wonderful site for relaxing and strolling about, but it has an equally important role to play as a place of learning and education. Every scene in this walk through time is complemented by the names and details of what can be seen.

Each scene restores, as accurately as possible, the most outstanding specimens of the time represented on a real scale, these facsimiles are almost as true as natural since they are carried out, by sculptors animaliers, in collaboration with eminent scientists prehistorians of the National Natural history museum of Natural History of Paris.
